Max had always felt like he was born in the wrong era. He was fascinated with history and the idea of traveling through time. Growing up, he spent most of his time reading books about different eras, imagining what it would be like to witness historic events first-hand.

One day, while browsing through a garage sale, Max stumbled upon an old pocket watch that caught his eye. It looked antique, but there was something about it that seemed almost magical. As soon as he picked it up, he felt a strange sensation wash over him, like he was being pulled through time and space.

Without thinking, Max bought the watch and took it home. That night, he couldn't resist the temptation to experiment with it. He turned the hands back and forth and whispered incantations under his breath. Suddenly, he felt a jolt of energy and was transported to a medieval kingdom.

As he looked around, Max realized he had been mistaken for a servant. The people around him were dressed in old-fashioned clothing and spoke in a language he didn't understand. He was taken to the castle where the queen demanded to know who he was and what he was doing there.

Scared out of his mind, Max blurted out that he was a servant and had come to help with the chores. The queen seemed satisfied with his answer and ordered him to follow her. It wasn't long before Max found himself in a gigantic kitchen, surrounded by pots and pans and terrified cooks.

For the next few days, Max worked as hard as he could, trying to blend in and not attract too much attention. He made friends with a few of the other servants, but mostly kept to himself, waiting for the moment when he could use the pocket watch to return home.

But as the days went on, Max began to realize that there was something strange going on in the kingdom. The queen and her advisors were constantly whispering about something, and the people around him seemed to be on edge. Max knew he had to find out what was going on before it was too late.

Max's adventure through time had only just begun, and he had no idea of the dangers and dark secrets that awaited him in the past.
